Your Own Site

Find It

Use Search at the top, or the first screen's Where's your site?, for an address or suburb in Victoria.

Put It on the Map

Under Build:

  1. Pick a development type, such as Medium Density Residential.
  2. Choose Lot and click a property to use its boundary, or Polygon to draw your own: click each corner, and double-click to finish.

Keep a site to a realistic size: the map shows its area as you go, and warns you above 10 hectares.

Fill It

Choose Fill site on your site's card. URBANMIND lays out buildings of that type within the zone's limits, and says if something stopped it, such as room on the lot or the height limit. It also follows clear numbers in overlay schedules.

Then change anything: move buildings, change storeys, or refill with another type. Build a Scenario goes through it all.

Check It

Run Check as in Your First Project. Draw a real parcel where you can: a square drawn over a road is reported as on a road reserve.
